Yield Optimization & Partnerships Manager
Reporting to the COO, the Yield Optimization & Partnerships Manager is a data-driven expert responsible for analyzing patterns and making strategic decisions to optimize revenue across all owned and operated (O&O) properties. Your primary focus will be leveraging various tactics to generate maximum advertising revenue.
- Quantitative Approach: Our data-first organization relies on objective insights to drive decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong bias toward finding the truth in data, developing opinions, and making recommendations based on data.
- Attention to Detail: Accurate data inputs are essential for effective analysis. The perfect candidate will have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that the little things like time zones, geographies, and inventory types are properly accounted for.
- Industry Knowledge: This person will be the advertising expert on our small team. The programmatic landscape constantly evolves, so the ideal candidate will stay abreast of industry trends and changes. They should also deeply understand the product and how it intersects with user experiences.
- Technical Comfort: A strong background and comfort with ad operations, yield management, and ad serving is essential. The perfect candidate will have the technical skills to read ad code and possess in-depth industry knowledge.

Requirements
Responsibilities
- Increase per-impression yield across our ad inventory.
- Work closely with demand partners and Supply-Side Platforms (SSPs) to drive improvements in key metrics such as RPMs, CPMs, Bid Rates, and Win Rates.
- Leverage historical data to analyze yield patterns, identify opportunities, and develop data-informed solutions to increase revenue.
- Conduct A/B testing to measure the effectiveness of various strategies and product initiatives, informing future decisions.
- Liaise with product and engineering teams and our partners to troubleshoot ad implementations and optimizations.
- Collaborate with the COO and business team to identify new monetization opportunities and implement changes to increase yield.
- Act as a subject matter expert, managing projects and keeping the team informed of industry trends and developments related to yield optimization.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of AdOps experience managing yield and partnerships at a programmatic publisher, SSP, or related sell-side monetization platform. Experience managing yield for a gaming publisher is a plus.
- Programmatic and header bidding experience (prebid.js, TAM, GAM).
- Some experience managing day-to-day relationships with SSPs and demand partners.
- Comfortable with analyzing spreadsheets and business intelligence tools (Google Looker Studio, and a willingness to learn other tools).
