WordPress Developer

Neo Group is seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to join our team. As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites using WordPress. You’ll work closely with our design and development teams to create functional and visually appealing WordPress sites that meet our clients’ needs.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain custom WordPress websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Collaborate with designers and developers to create visually appealing and user-friendly WordPress themes and plugins.
• Ensure code quality and web development best practices are followed.
• Perform website updates and optimizations to improve performance and user experience.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues with WordPress sites and plugins.
• Stay up to date with the latest WordPress trends and technologies.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients and colleagues.

Requirements

• Development and customization of themes and plugins for WordPress.

• Uniqueness and optimization of developed templates.
• Customization of commercial templates.
• Confident knowledge of PHP 7.x+, CMS WordPress, including functions, hooks, custom posts, ACF.
• Ability to develop plugins and themes with minimal use of third party plugins.
• Experience with third-party APIs, version control systems (git).
• Basic system administration skills (NGINX, MySQL).
• Knowledge of the nuances of cross-browser, cross-platform layout.
• Development of responsive layout, ability to work with layout verification and audit tools.
• Proficient in Flexbox, Grid Layout, Media Queries, and the ability to implement animations.
• Understanding of UX/UI principles, SEO, product testing.
• Experience with wpdb, JSON, XML.
