Position: Web Development and Automation Specialist

Work Hours (Client): Monday – Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM PST

Pay Range: $1000-$2000/month

Location: Fully remote

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Utilize existing plugins and themes to design and develop WordPress websites that align with our brand and business objectives.
  • Develop basic custom plugins, utilize WP-CLI, and establish API connections to enhance website functionality and integration with other systems.
  • Implement PHP, CSS, and JS solutions within the WordPress ecosystem to customize and optimize website performance.
  • Demonstrate creativity and problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Founder and other team members to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable development tasks.
  • Ensure all web development projects are completed within established timelines and meet quality standards.
  • Assist in building and maintaining CRM systems to manage customer relationships and support sales pipeline activities.
  • Provide training and support to team members on website management and automation tools as needed.
  • Ensure customer-facing new features meet style requirements

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in front-end web development with minimum 3 years of wordpress specific experience.
  • Proven experience working with WordPress, including building and maintaining websites using existing plugins and themes.
  • Proficiency in developing basic custom plugins, utilizing WP-CLI, and establishing API connections in WordPress.
  • Strong command of PHP, CSS, and JS within the WordPress ecosystem.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a creative mindset to develop innovative solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and collaborate with team members across different time zones.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and experience in implementing automation solutions preferred.
  • Experience in using SEO principles to maximize reach.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of relational databases or willing to learn. 
  • Great English is required.  Reading / writing specifically needs to be top notch. 
  • A proven portfolio demonstrating the above skills will be required
