Job Summary

We’re after an experienced web developer who’s comfortable co-designing, building, testing, and implementing solutions related to our websites.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain websites written in React/NextJS or equivalent libraries
  • Engage with the development team and other stakeholders
  • Follow detailed instructions to complete tasks working independently or as part of a team

Requirements

  • 2+ years of working with frontend applications and a good knowledge of modern frontend technologies
  • Experience working with website builders and CMS such as WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Shopify or similar tools
  • Ability to work with and create plugins / extensions for a CMS & proficient in React/NextJS, along with Typescript
  • Knowledge of using Vercel Integrating with REST APIs & Storyblok
  • Proficient in using SCSS with Tailwind an added bonus
  • An understanding of integrating 3rd party software into existing websites
  • Cross-browser, cross-platform, cross-device compatibility issues and ways to work around them
  • Rapidly prototype web applications to showcase new concepts and ideas
  • Ability to communicate with clients and support our integrations & able to suggest new technologies.
  • Estimate the duration and level of effort of development tasks
  • Some exposure to CI/CD best practices
  • Ability to meet deadlines, and work independently and within a team, with clear reporting and focused on results
  • Willing to work 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM IST, Monday to Friday

MUST HAVE SKILLS:

  • Git, NPM, Yarn
  • Node JS
  • Typescript
  • React / NextJS
  • Ability to build react apps that consume content from an API (headless CMS)
  • Maintain content in a CMS (Storyblok)
  • Understanding of CMS plugins and extensions and how to build them
