About the Job:

As the Vice President of Sales for EMEA, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing growth strategies to significantly increase our market share in the EMEA region, targeting an ARR of 6-8 million. Leading our regional sales team, you will drive the promotion of Zone’s brand and software offerings within this region. The ideal candidate for this role will be based in either Amsterdam or London, given their status as key team hubs and the locations of our primary sales partners. Given that a significant portion of our executive team is based in the United States, it is crucial that you can actively participate in frequent calls with this team, often outside of typical EMEA office hours. This position oversees all aspects of sales management, including the supervision of the Account Management and Pre-Sales teams, and reports directly to the Chief Revenue Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies, targeting new verticals and opportunities to drive revenue growth and expand Zone’s presence in EMEA.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor a high-performing sales team, ensuring they meet or exceed sales targets, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Experience with leading a sales team for a multi-product software company, including the pre-sales department.
  • Experience with developing an Account management strategy
  • Collaborate with internal departments (Marketing, Product Development, etc.) to develop comprehensive sales and marketing plans.
  • Analyze market trends and competition to identify and prioritize profitable growth opportunities, and evaluate and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with global clients, distributors, and channel partners.
  • Attend international trade shows, conferences, and networking events, acting as the face of the company and presenting Zone’s vision and products.
  • Regularly review sales performance reports and account updates, proactively identifying issues and recommending improvements to enhance overall sales effectiveness.
  • Experience unlocking potential growth opportunities in new markets.

Requirements

  • Must be Located in UK, Amsterdam or EMEA general area.
  • Familiarity with Netsuite ecosytem is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, or a related field required
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Experience optimizing sales teams
  • Has experience scaling a company in the $30-100M revenue range with 50% + growth rate.
  • Numbers and performance-focused individual.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior sales management role, with a focus on multi-product sales at a SaaS company 
  • Tech-savvy, proficient in CRM (SalesForce) and sales management platforms, as well as the ability to learn and understand the technical details of our cloud-based solutions.
  • An affinity with Financial processes and accounting is preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience in recruiting, training, and successfully managing a global sales team.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with fluency in multiple languages being a definite asset.
  • Solid understanding of SaaS business models, international sales techniques and trends, along with a comprehensive knowledge of various regional markets and cultural differences.
  • Willingness and ability to frequently travel internationally and maintain a flexible work schedule.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • High degree of integrity and ethical behavior, representing the company domestically and internationally.
