Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and motivated UI/UX Co-op or Intern to join our team. As a UI/UX Co-op or Intern, you will assist in designing and developing a cutting-edge administrator portal that provides a seamless and intuitive user experience. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in UI/UX design and development, and contribute to the creation of a high-impact project.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing and developing a modern, responsive, and user-friendly administrator portal

• Collaborate with our UI/UX team to gather requirements and develop a deep understanding of the portal’s functional and technical needs

• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that demonstrate a clear understanding of user experience principles and best practices

• Assist in developing clean, modular, and reusable code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks such as React or Angular

• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate and improve the portal’s design and functionality

• Assist in implementing responsive design principles to ensure a consistent user experience across various devices and browsers

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in UI/UX design and development

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field

• Strong foundation in UI/UX design principles, human-centered design, and design thinking

• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or InVision

• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate design decisions and trade-offs to stakeholders

Nice to Have:

• Experience with CSS preprocessors such as Sass or Less

• Knowledge of state management libraries such as Redux or MobX

• Familiarity with accessibility guidelines and best practices

• Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git

• Knowledge of backend technologies such as Node.js, Ruby on Rails, or Django
