In this role you will be responsible for the integration and management of complex systems in a dynamic environment. Product and engineering leadership will rely on you to assist with integrating third-party services, internal and external systems, and will be expected to lead the delivery of projects on time and on budget.

You will have great communication, technical partner support and prioritization skills with a clear focus on providing the best possible experience to our Feeld community. The ability to be self-directed, while still providing excellent service to our internal and external teams, is critical.

What you will do:

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively plan, lead, and document outcomes of meetings that will guide discussions between cross-functional product, engineering, and partner teams. Distinctive analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong knowledge of the integrated systems lifecycle development utilizing different – and sometimes – multiple development models (e.g., agile, waterfall, hybrid, etc.)
  • Accustomed to working with third-party integrations that involve both external and internal dependencies
  • Manage risks, measure and report on progress, anticipate and resolve bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance business needs with technical constraints in order to provide timely updates on project health to a cross-functional audience of technical, business, and operations stakeholders
  • Proven track record managing complex technical projects in application distribution models with content & metadata feed integrations, billing and purchasing journeys, and application development kits

Requirements

About you:

  • 5+ years’ experience in project management, systems engineering, or as scrum product owner
  • 3+ years’ experience facilitating solutions between business and technical teams
  • You are experienced with large-scale distributed systems
  • You are comfortable with changing specifications and standards, and leading teams to deliver through ambiguity.
  • You have the ability to learn, explore and research in new and emerging areas
  • You have excellent project management skills, combined with a strong business judgment, and the ability to break down program blockers and influence team members towards negotiation and resolution
  • You enjoy taking on big challenges, coordinating and owning multiple dimensions in pursuit of delivering high quality products.
  • You are equally comfortable digging into business requirements and product planning, as drilling into code with development teams.
  • You are familiar with cloud-based systems. Demonstrated understanding of how to maximize return on technology investments with native functionality vs custom code.

Bonus points:

  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills; specifically the ability to translate information across project team members and stakeholders at all levels, and executive summaries.

That is why we offer:

  • At Feeld we believe all humans deserve to make a competitive wage. That’s why we offer a Baseline Freedom Salary of £60,000 GBP per year.
  • The total cash compensation for this role is determined by Level and Step, as well as geographic location, but we estimate that this role can earn between £100,000 – £160,000 GBP based on the requirements listed in this job description.

Our interview process:

  • Your first conversation with Feeld will be a screening call with our recruiter, where you’ll be able to ask – and receive answers – regarding any general questions you have and to confirm the role is a fit for what you’re seeking.
  • Your second conversation will connect you directly with the hiring manager for the role you’re applying to. Here, you’ll have a chance to ask more questions about the work you’ll be doing. This conversation will also focus on your past work experiences.
  • The next step for most of our roles is a candidate challenge. This is an evaluation of the skills relevant to be successful in this role and generally takes about an hour to complete.
  • Your third conversation allows you the opportunity to meet the team members you might be working with on a daily basis. Here, you’ll be able to ask questions about team processes, workflow, and the employee experience at Feeld.
  • We generally make an offer within 2 weeks of our final call, and offer a flexible start date that can begin as early as the next Monday after you sign our offer documentation.
  • Of note: all of our interviews are conducted remotely, and our interviewers will work with you to find an agreeable interview time based on mutual availability.
