Technical Product Owner

Hire Resolve’s client is looking for a Technical Product Owner to join their team. The client’s mission is to power innovators in remote biometric digital authentication.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to define and prioritise product backlog items based on business values and customer needs.
  • Articulate and communicate product vision, goals, and requirements to the development team and other stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain a well-defined product backlog with clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and priorities.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of product increments and releases.
  • Participate in sprint planning, grooming, review, and retrospective meetings to refine and improve the development process and support the engineering team.
  • Active participant in Agile ceremonies.
  • Identify user needs and ensure the product meets customer expectations
  • Continuously gather feedback from customers and end-users to refine and enhance the product.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and competitive landscape to ensure the product remains competitive and innovative.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the development team, fostering a collaborative and empowered work environment.

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of Agile software development methodology, such as Scrum or Kanban
  • A sound technical understanding of software development
  • Ability to balance technical feasibility and business value when making decisions
  • Experience in effective prioritization
  • Knowledge of user-centred design principles
  • Understanding design quality standards
  • Ability to work with large / multiple teams
