Technical Asset Manager, Renewable Energy

As Calibrant’s first Technical Asset Manager, you will oversee operational projects, optimizing asset performance and efficiently managing third-party contracts to ensure successful project operation. You’ll engage in customer-focused communication, resolving issues proactively, while playing a pivotal role in customer origination and proposal responses.

***While we have an office in Florida, this is a remote role and we are open to qualified candidates across the USA***

What You’ll Do:

    • Oversee all technical operational and maintenance aspects of Calibrant’s renewable energy assets and energy efficiency installations.
    • Build out necessary processes where necessary.
    • Work with operations, finance, and other teams to ensure that assets are performing efficiently and achieving business objectives.
    • Foster relationships with stakeholders and partners acting as the interface with customers preparing reports and presentations on project metrics.
    • Develop and implement asset management strategies for new and existing projects.
    • Support project origination and development efforts of the Company by acting as internal subject matter expert on O&M and asset management, providing input on costing as well as vendor identification, scoping, and qualification.
    • Manage third-party providers, contracts, warranties, and reporting obligations.
    • Foster new relationships with 3rd party providers where applicable, expand Calibrant’s pool of vendors.
    • Lead investigations into equipment failures or other issues to identify root cause and provide recommendations for resolutions.
    • Stay informed of industry developments, market research, emerging technology, and regulatory & legislative policy.

Requirements

Who You Are:

  • You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in technical asset management for renewable energy projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or renewable energy engineering or related field
  • Strong knowledge of renewable energy technologies and industry standards
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements for renewable energy projects.

The salary range for this role is: $150,000-$165,000.
