Technical Account Director
Everything To Gain is a dynamic sales and marketing firm specializing in delivering high-impact solutions with a strong technical foundation. We are seeking a Technical Account Director to lead client engagements that involve software development and technical execution. This is a hybrid role combining client relationship management, project oversight, and team leadership.
As a Technical Account Director, you will be the primary point of contact for your accounts—driving communication, setting expectations, and ensuring timely delivery. You’ll oversee a team of developers and other contributors, delegate work appropriately, and ensure all elements of a project align with client goals. This role requires a strategic thinker who is equally comfortable in technical conversations and high-level business discussions.
Successful candidates will have experience working with software teams, excellent organizational and communication skills, and a strong sense of ownership. This is a high-impact role with the opportunity to earn commission on accounts you manage and grow.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in account management, technical project management, or similar client-facing roles
- Demonstrated experience working with or managing software development teams
- Strong understanding of software development workflows and terminology
- Proven ability to manage multiple accounts or projects simultaneously
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; able to interface confidently with clients and internal teams
- Ability to delegate tasks effectively and manage team performance
- Comfort with ambiguity and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Trello, Slack, Google Workspace, and basic CRM systems
- Bonus: Background in software development or technical consulting
