The company has spent the last 14 years operating globally within the beverage sector, focusing primarily on headhunting mid to senior executives for brand owners and distributors within the beer, wines, spirits, soft drinks, and coffee categories.

The second part of the company supports beverage clients on a broad range of talent requirements: for example, coaching, leadership development, restructures, outplacement, compensation and benefits analysis and employee engagement surveys.

Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:

This role is pivotal in supporting the recruitment efforts by conducting comprehensive research to identify potential candidates and maintaining the company’s extensive database of industry professionals. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for talent, strong organizational skills and a genuine interest in the drinks industry.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Talent Research:

  • Conduct in-depth research to identify potential candidates for various positions within the drinks industry, including but not limited to sales, marketing, production, and management roles.
  • Utilize various online platforms, industry publications and networking channels to source qualified candidates.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, market developments and competitor activities to identify emerging talent pools.

2. Candidate Screening:

  • Review resumes and portfolios to assess candidates’ qualifications, experience, and suitability for specific roles.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings to evaluate candidates’ communication skills, career goals, and cultural fit with client organizations.
  • Coordinate with recruitment consultants to schedule interviews and provide feedback on candidate profiles.

3. Database Management:

  • Maintain and update candidate database with accurate and relevant information, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Regularly clean and organize the database to optimize search functionality and streamline the recruitment process.
  • Implement best practices for data management and compliance with privacy regulations, such as GDPR.

4. Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with recruitment consultants to understand client requirements and refine candidate profiles.
  • Provide timely updates on candidate sourcing activities, pipeline status and database maintenance efforts.
  • Foster positive relationships with candidates and industry contacts through professional communication and networking.

5. Administrative Support:

  • Assist with administrative tasks related to recruitment, such as scheduling interviews, drafting correspondence and preparing candidate profiles.
  • Generate reports and analytics to track recruitment metrics, including candidate sourcing effectiveness and time-to-fill metrics.

Requirements

Must-have Skills / Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in 360-degree talent sourcing, headhunting/executive search, and database management.
  • Familiarity with the drinks industry or a strong interest in pursuing a career in this sector is advantageous.  
  • Ideally, candidates will come from executive search firms or have experience in the consumer and retail industries.
  • Database Management experience is nice to have.
  • Proficiency in using online recruitment platforms, social media, and other sourcing tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and database management software.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
