Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Administrator with a strong background in internet service provider (ISP) environments to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and managing our IT systems, servers, and network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability for our organization.
Responsibilities
1. Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components, including servers, storage devices, network equipment, and operating systems.
2. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
3. Implement security measures and protocols to protect data, software, and hardware from unauthorized access or damage.
4. Develop and maintain documentation for system procedures, configurations, and disaster recovery plans.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues.
6. Provide technical support to end-users, addressing questions and concerns promptly.
7. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending upgrades and improvements to the IT infrastructure as necessary.
Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. 10+ years of experience as a System Administrator, preferably with an internet service provider (ISP) background.
3. Strong knowledge of networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, and routing protocols.
4. Proficient in Windows, Linux, and virtualization environments.
5. Experience with cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
6. Knowledge of network security, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
7. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
8. Native or C2 level English proficiency (mandatory).
9. Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote, team-oriented environment.
