One of our companies is currently looking for a Staff Accountant in United States.

The Staff Accountant will play an essential role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the month-end and year-end close processes. You will be responsible for handling general ledger transactions, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work with a variety of financial data. You will also identify opportunities to improve financial processes and work closely with teams across the organization to ensure compliance with accounting principles.

Accountabilities:

  • Reconcile bank accounts and financial transactions, addressing discrepancies as they arise.
  • Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparation of schedules and reconciliations.
  • Prepare, analyze, and ensure the accuracy of financial reports such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
  • Work closely with internal departments to respond to queries and resolve any financial issues.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial reporting and transaction processing.

Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • 3-5 years of experience with general ledger transactions and reconciliations.
    • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting practices.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
    • Experience with NetSuite, Confluence, and Google Workspaces is preferred.
    • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with teams across different departments.
