 Role:  Senior Data Analyst

 Schedule: M-F / 8:00 – 5:00 PST with eventually 2-3 hours buffer/flexibility)

Type of Contract: Full Time – Independent Contractor

Salary Range: 3000 – 5000 USD (Based on Experience)

Scope of the Role

As a Sr. Data Analyst at our client’s organization, you will play a critical role in leveraging data to drive sales and marketing while enabling their client’s success efforts within the context of building the world’s most advanced marketing intelligence platform for growth. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks aimed at enhancing customer experiences and facilitating data-driven decision-making across various departments.✊

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth analysis using advanced analytical techniques to extract actionable insights related to advertising spend attribution, customer journey mapping, and other key performance metrics.
  • Perform root cause analysis to identify underlying factors influencing business outcomes and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools like Looker, providing stakeholders with a unified view of e-commerce data and key performance indicators.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into clear and concise presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to identify opportunities for optimization and growth based on data-driven insights.
  • Interface with non-technical stakeholders, including C-suite executives, to understand strategic priorities and translate them into actionable analytical tasks.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by proactively identifying areas for process enhancement and optimization.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analysis, attribution modeling, and e-commerce analytics, bringing innovative ideas to the team.

Requirements

  • B2+ English level, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • 4+ years of experience working as a Data Analyst or in a similar role. (Must Have)
  • Previous experience working in Media Buying is a BIG PLUS  
  • Programming Languages: Advanced knowledge of programming languages like Python for data analysis. (Must Have)
  • Data Visualization: Experience with data visualization tools preferably Looker. (Must Have)
  • Analytics Programming Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating data, along with advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting. (Must Have)
  • Data Warehousing: Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and experience in managing data warehouses. (Nice to Have)
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguous or loosely defined problems.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. (Must Have)
  • Experience interfacing with C-level executives and translating their strategic concerns into data-driven solutions. (Must Have)
