About the role:

Job Title: Sourcing Specialist

Working Schedule: Full Time | 40 hours per week

Type of Contract: Independent Contractor

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing and Candidate Research:
    • Utilize online recruiting tools and databases (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search) to identify high-potential candidates.
    • Conduct in-depth research on target candidates, including reviewing online profiles, social media presence, and professional achievements.
    • Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies to attract passive and active job seekers.
    • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging talent pools by attending relevant webinars and conferences (virtually).
  • Candidate Engagement and Outreach:
    • Draft compelling and targeted outreach messages to initiate conversations with potential candidates.
    • Build rapport with qualified candidates via phone, email, or video conferencing, highlighting the company culture and career opportunities.
    • Manage the initial screening process to assess candidate qualifications and interest in the company.
  • Building a Strong Talent Pipeline:
    • Develop and maintain a robust database of qualified candidates aligned with the company’s hiring needs.
    • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand specific skill sets and experience required for open positions.
    • Proactively source and pre-qualify candidates to expedite the interview process.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Track and report on sourcing activities and results, including a number of contacts made and qualified candidates identified.
    • Analyze sourcing metrics and identify areas for improvement in sourcing strategies.
    • Stay updated on recruiting trends and technologies to optimize sourcing effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruitment or a similar role, with a strong understanding of online recruiting tools and techniques.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Notion and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) like Workable
  • Solid experience in creating online marketing campaigns using Meta and other social media platforms.
  • Proven ability to identify and attract top talent in a virtual environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport remotely.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for crafting compelling outreach messages.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
