One of our companies is currently looking for a Software Quality Engineer in the United States.

This role is ideal for a hands-on, detail-oriented quality engineer with a solid foundation in software engineering and a passion for automation and process improvement. You’ll be responsible for designing and executing test strategies that ensure the stability, performance, and security of browser-based and desktop applications. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will integrate QA best practices throughout the development lifecycle, contribute to automated testing pipelines, and help raise the bar for quality across the board. This is a fast-paced environment where your analytical thinking, problem-solving, and collaborative mindset will be key to success.

Accountabilities:

  • Design and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements
  • Execute both manual and automated tests for functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing
  • Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and similar tools
  • Collaborate with development, product, and design teams to align on quality objectives and testing priorities
  • Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Git-based tools
  • Track and manage defects using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps, and support teams in diagnosing and resolving issues
  • Advocate for quality throughout the SDLC, contributing to agile ceremonies and driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • Document testing results and deliver test metrics and reports to project stakeholders

Requirements

  • Proficient in C#, JavaScript, Angular, and experience with .NET Core, .NET Framework, and WPF UI Framework
  • Hands-on experience writing and maintaining test automation with tools like Selenium and Cypress
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test strategies, and API testing using tools such as Postman
  • Familiarity with Git version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, GitLab)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Experience in both browser-based and desktop client testing environments
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting
