The Opportunity
We’re in search of a Senior Engineer to join our rapidly growing team. As employee #5, you’ll be at the core of our technical foundation, shaping critical features and ensuring scalability as we embark on our journey. Requirements
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate closely with technical founders to define and develop our core technology stack architecture.
- Lead the development of key features spanning UI/UX, authentication, applied AI, payments, backend services, live operations, infrastructure, and more.
- Contribute to developer velocity by optimizing tools and processes, such as implementing a multi-platform per commit build server.
- Rapidly prototype growth features and iterate based on user feedback and market insights.
Requirements
- Demonstrated track record of hands-on involvement in building consumer products, whether through work or personal projects.
- 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer in consumer mobile apps, modern live service game development, or AR/VR across the entire tech stack.
- Proficiency in either C# or modern JavaScript/TypeScript, with at least basic familiarity with the other.
- Some exposure to native iOS app development and Swift, or a strong willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with modern cloud platforms like Google Cloud and experience with scaling backend systems.
- A creative eye and a strong user-centric mindset.
- Passion for cutting-edge applied AI and/or game development.
Bonus Points
- Experience with live services and rapid-deployment methodologies.
- Familiarity with multi-platform mobile product codebases such as Unity, React Native, or Flutter.
- Experience in developing real-time multiplayer online products.
- Desire to make a significant impact at an early-stage, venture-backed gaming startup with substantial potential.

Location
We strongly prefer candidates based in Canada. However, exceptional candidates residing in the Americas and able to work compatible hours with US Eastern Time zone will also be considered.
