Social Media Manager & Content Creator

Zipdev is looking for a strategic and creative Social Media Manager & Content Creator to own and drive our client organic social media content strategy. This person will be responsible for growing our presence across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and LinkedIn—with a strong focus on short-form video content.

We’re looking for someone with a proven track record of building or significantly growing a brand’s social media presence—especially on Instagram. A strong portfolio or case studies will be key. This role is an even mix of strategy and execution—you’ll be planning content and also hands-on creating it.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute our organic content strategy across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
  • Create and maintain a content calendar, ensuring consistency in voice and messaging across platforms.
  • Edit and produce short-form videos using tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar.
  • Transform raw footage, UGC, and branded assets into compelling, high-performing content.
  • Stay up to date with social trends, platform features, and cultural moments to fuel content ideas.
  • Write sharp, engaging social copy that supports messaging and drives clicks.
  • Track and analyze content performance and use data to guide future content decisions.

Requirements:

  • Have 2–4 years of experience managing and growing brand social accounts, with a strong portfolio showing performance and growth.
  • Know Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts deeply—from algorithms to editing styles and content trends.
  • Are skilled in video editing and comfortable working with both polished and lo-fi creator-style footage.
  • Are a great storyteller, both visually and in writing, with the ability to match a brand’s tone of voice.
  • Are self-driven, organized, and thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.

Our Recruitment Process

  • Video Interview
  • 20-minute take-home skills test
  • 30-minute Call with the Recruiter (project, benefits, etc.)
  • Interviews directly with the client (depending on the project the # of interviews may vary, this may include an assessment)
