Social Media Manager 10 Hours per Week (IC-PC)

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Repurposing: Efficiently repurpose existing content for various platforms to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Social Media Management: Oversee and manage social media accounts, including content scheduling, engagement, and analytics tracking.
  • License Tracking and Maintenance: Keep track of state and national licenses, ensuring all are current and compliant.
  • Calendar and Inbox Management: Assist with organizing calendars and managing email inboxes to ensure efficient workflow and communication.
  • Newsletter Creation and Management: Design and manage a consistent and engaging newsletter using platforms like Canva and Google Suite.
  • Research and Legal Compliance: Stay updated on state laws and regulations relevant to the organization’s focus.
  • Webinar and Workshop Assistance: Provide support in organizing and executing webinars and workshops.
  • Ad Hoc Tasks and Project Assistance: Be ready to assist with various ad hoc tasks or projects as they arise, demonstrating adaptability and initiative.

Requirements

  • Experience in Social Media/Digital Marketing: Must have solid experience in managing social media platforms and executing digital marketing strategies.
  • Passion for or interest in LGBTQ+ topics is a plus.
  • Ability to think outside of the box.
  • Organizational Skills: Intuitively organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
  • Attention to Detail: Must have a meticulous approach to ensure accuracy in all aspects of work.
  • Creativity: Ability to create visually appealing and engaging content for various digital platforms.
  • Self-Starter Attitude: Must be a proactive individual who can work independently and take initiative in a remote work environment.
