Location: Remote

Work Shift: EST

Working Hours: 40 hrs/week (Full-time)

Rate: $10-$15/hr

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Shopify Web Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Shopify development, an eye for design, and the ability to create seamless and responsive e-commerce websites. As a Shopify Web Developer, you will play a crucial role in implementing and customizing Shopify themes, ensuring optimal website performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement Shopify e-commerce websites based on client requirements.
Customize and modify Shopify themes to achieve unique and visually appealing storefronts.
Implement responsive design principles to ensure a seamless user experience across devices.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design mockups into functional web pages.
Integrate third-party apps and extensions to enhance e-commerce functionality.
Implement and customize payment gateways, shipping methods, and order processing workflows.
Conduct regular audits of Shopify websites to optimize performance and user experience.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website speed, responsiveness, and functionality.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, project managers, and QA testers.
Provide technical expertise and guidance on Shopify development best practices.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Shopify Web Developer with a strong portfolio showcasing previous projects.
Proficient in HTML, CSS, Liquid, and JavaScript.
Experience with Shopify theme customization and development.
Knowledge of e-commerce best practices and trends.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus.
