Requirements

AI Search Optimisation: Lead efforts to ensure our content is indexed and ranked in AI search results. You will implement and refine strategies for AI platforms like Google SGE, ChatGPT, and other emerging engines, staying ahead of industry changes.
SEO Fundamentals: Continue to optimise website content, metadata, and link-building efforts, while ensuring that traditional SEO tactics are consistently executed alongside AI strategies. Including keyword research and analysis to identify trends and user intent, guiding content development. Excellent link-building and outreach activities, to build and maintain a strong backlink profile.
Performance Tracking & Reporting: Track, analyse, and report on SEO performance metrics, particularly in the context of AI-driven search. Use insights to inform strategy and make adjustments to improve visibility and ranking.
Collaboration with Content Team: Work with content writers to ensure that articles, blog posts, and landing pages are optimised for both traditional and AI search engines.
Keeping Abreast of Industry Trends: Stay informed of AI innovations in the SEO industry, particularly advancements in generative AI, and share insights with the team to continuously improve our SEO approach.
Growth & Scaling: Develop and execute strategies to scale SEO efforts effectively, aligning with broader company goals for traffic growth and lead generation.

Qualifications

Experience: 4-5 years in SEO, with a strong understanding of core SEO principles and tactics (on-page, off-page, technical SEO).
Skills: Hands-on experience with AI search optimisation and familiarity with generative engines like Google SGE, ChatGPT, or similar platforms (ideal but not essential).
Analytical Ability: Proficiency in using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and keyword research platforms.
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adjust strategies based on performance data and market trends.
Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with AI-driven search algorithms, content structuring for AI platforms, and how to optimise for both traditional and AI search engines. Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
Education: A degree in marketing, digital marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
