Senior Technical Analyst (m/f/d)

If you’re a Senior Technical Analyst who has an inquisitive mindset and a passion for solving problems while always looking for opportunities to expand your knowledge – this could be the role for you:

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Document business requirements to the appropriate technical level (process flows, entity diagrams, etc)
  • Evaluate solutions with the development team by exploring options to address issues or new requirements
  • Agree on the most optimal course of action in case multiple options available together with the team
  • Support the maintenance of technical documentation (specifications, system diagrams and data models)
  • Capture non-functional requirements considering impact on scalability, performance, security, etc
  • Validate assumptions through data analysis in collaboration with business stakeholders and technical teams
  • Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications and solutions
  • Document integration solutions based on various stakeholders input for seamless system interoperability
  • Participate in testing activities and validate that technical solutions meet specified business requirements
  • Analyse complex datasets to extract meaningful insights, contributing to data-driven decision-making
  • Review and support with the automation testing and non-functional requirements testing strategy process
  • Develop and design Power BI reports and dashboards for business review and feedback
  • Use SQL for basic reporting tasks, such as aggregating, calculations and summarisations
  • Utilize the Gherkin language (Given-When-Then) to express use cases and business rules

Requirements

This is what you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in technical analysis, system design, or a similar role
  • Strong understanding of system architecture, software development, and database design
  • Proficiency in data analysis and capable of using data analysis tools, knowledge of SQL, Python or R
  • Proficiency in modelling notations such as UML, DFD, ERD, system architecture diagrams etc.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Experience in requirements engineering and business process modelling
  • Knowledge of various software development methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to high quality and accuracy
  • Language: English
