Senior Revenue Insights Manager

About the role:
We are seeking a leader in our Revenue Operations function to own, build and optimize our Revenue Organizations reporting and insights. An ideal candidate understands enterprise selling, SaaS Sales and GTM motions and can develop our reporting strategies, KPIs, and reports. This person will work with our Data team on more complex dashboarding and has the ability to align our Revenue data and insights to the broader organization. This role will require both data and tooling skills and the ability to tie the data back to the Revenue organization with key insights and actionable data for Leadership. This is a new role for us at Docker so we are looking for a builder that has a proven track record in a fast paced, start up environment. This role reports directly to our VP of Revenue Operations.
In this role, you will:

You will lead our Revenue Insights efforts initially identifying the needs of our Revenue Managers and Leaders to build out our reporting strategies and frameworks. This person will be responsible for ensuring we have the right data, at the right time, served up to our managers and leaders with key insights to ultimately support our growth targets.

This role is multi-dimensional and will be expected to have strategies for how Revenue leaders get and use data and Insights. This person will be asked to build simple reports in SFDC and Clari all the way to working with our Data team to build complex dashboards and visualizations.

You will work cross functionally with our Data, Marketing, CS, BD, and Business Applications teams to ensure our KPIs and metrics align to the company objectives.

This role is responsible for understanding our Revenue teams strategies and aligning data and insights to expected outcomes including providing actionable insights.

You will apply data modeling, predictive modeling, and analytical techniques to interpret key findings from data and convert these insights into initiatives that will drive high-quality data-driven decisions and improvements in business performance.

Work on insightful, ad hoc analyses to support the general needs of the business

Lead quarterly business reviews and provide self serves data to Sales leadership that supports local QBRs globally.

What you’ll need:

8+ years of GTM reporting, data modeling and analytical experience

Proven experience building reporting frameworks, dashboards and actionable insights

Experience working with Sales and Revenue Leadership teams understanding the needs of the different businesses

The ability to go deep into data but also to summarize key insights for leadership

Good communication skills

Experience working for a high-growth software/Saas company

Proven quantitative orientation to successfully manipulate and analyze complex data from varying sources to extract meaningful insights

Proficiency in Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Looker), SQL, Excel (Power Pivots, Macros, Modeling), and PowerPoint.

Get familiar with our data in Snowflake and SFDC and work with our global data team to understand our existing data strategies

Review existing KPIs and reports and begin to develop a cohesive plan for building our reporting frameworks for key Revenue teams

Survey the existing Revenue Operations team to get a good understanding of the existing processes

Engage with our Revenue leaders to gain as sense for the data and reporting gaps in our business
What to expect in the first 60 days

Align on a plan for action with the VP of Revenue Operations

Have enough knowledge of our systems and data to start to build basic reports

Begin to work on implementing reports for our Sales leadership team including working cross functionally with Finance & our Data team to align on reporting, metrics and timing

Come up with standard KPIs for QBRs and develop a plan for execution
What to expect in the first 90 days

Continue building our frameworks and reports

Actively participate in ad hoc analysis

Support our MBRs, QBRs and other executive meetings with standard metrics and actionable insights
