Senior Pre-Sales Consultant

As a Senior Pre-Sales Consultant, you lead the value-based solutioning to prospects and customers, championing efforts to secure business and technical wins. You will have a chance to engage and problem solve with cross-functional resources throughout the sales journey and have a tangible impact on the customer decision-making process across all levels of seniority. You will help identify and establish relationships with key cross-functional leaders at Skan and help build the organization as we grow. For this position, we are looking for remote candidates located in the United States and Canada.

What you will do at Skan:

  • Document and manage demo scripts, separated by industry and use case
  • Compose and deliver value-based industry-specific demos and presentations to prospective customers and partners, which includes potential RFI/RFPs which might need customer research and insights to prepare responses
  • Establish technical credibility and build confidence in recommended solutions leveraging your product expertise, custom product demonstrations, technical Q&A, business process requirements, customer business objectives, and product roadmap discussions
  • Develop a deep appreciation of Skan’s platform and technology including customer use case by process and industry, with regular touchpoints with cross-functional teams
  • Collaborate with product management to communicate customer feedback, develop new product features in support of customer POC/ pilots and learn new Product features
  • Partner with product marketing teams to help create case studies and provide proof points with relevant customer success stories
  • Work closely with the Business Value Engineering team to highlight sources of customer insights and value from the Product
  • Participate in trade shows, seminars, and other industry events on an as needed basis


What you will bring to Skan:

  • A minimum of six years of experience in a customer-facing role with exposure in strong sales & technical pre-sales, preferably in a high-growth environment
  • A minimum of four years of working with SaaS, preferably enterprise SaaS solutions to F1000 companies with a focus on process mining, process discovery, and robotic process automation
  • Proficient in value creation sales motion to senior-level enterprise customers, and an ability to influence customer teams from individual contributors to senior-level executives
  • Build and maintain customer relationships that will be significantly leveraged in driving longterm success
  • Proactive listening skills and excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to execute and see tasks to conclusion
  • Strong work ethic and a high level of intensity to work with an experienced, motivated leadership team focused on creating a significantly sized company in a short timeframe
