We invite an experienced Performance Test Engineer with a strong background in cloud-based and mobile application performance testing, as well as leadership skills, to join our new QA team. In this role, you’ll guide a group of talented test engineers to design, run, and analyze tests, ensuring our client’s POS software meets the highest standards for performance and scalability. The client is a leading payment processing solution provider, serving over 275,000 U.S. businesses.

✅ Is that you?
- 5+ years of hands-on automation testing experience, including performance and load testing
- Proficiency with tools like Gatling and K6
- Experience tracking performance metrics, identifying and fixing bottlenecks, troubleshooting issues, and suggesting improvements
- Experience with and JavaScript
- Background in mobile application performance testing (Android, iOS, React Native will be a plus)
- Strong Docker skills
- Experience with AWS services
- Strong leadership skills and QA team leadership experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Upper-Intermediate English level
Desirable:
- Familiarity with the fintech domain and POS solutions
- SQL DB knowledge and working experience
- Experience creating comprehensive testing frameworks for POS from scratch
Key responsibilities and your contribution
You’ll lead the team in enhancing our POS system’s performance and stability, actively conducting tests, analyzing results, and collaborating with the team to deliver high-quality software solutions for the client.
- Lead the team in performance and load testing on the client’s POS system, mobile and cloud applications
- Create and execute complex test plans and test scenarios
- Improve performance and identify bottlenecks
- Drive the creation and implementation of testing frameworks from scratch
- Work with the development team to resolve performance problems
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership
- Analyze performance metrics and report on test results
- Ensure best practices in performance testing and automation are applied
- Update relevant stakeholders on performance issues and improvements
