Sawhorse Interactive is searching for a Senior Media Planner to join our mission of building a leading studio that pushes the boundaries of immersive consumer experiences.
Looking for an enthusiastic Senior Media Planner to support and own campaigns for a custom-built, interactive retail shopping experience. The Senior Media Planner will play a pivotal role in building, executing, and optimizing social media campaigns across various platforms. You will collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop and implement effective strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
This is a senior level position that requires media planning experience, a deep understanding of social media advertising, analytics, industry trends and a track record of successful campaigns. This position would also require an understanding of organic social media to be able to work with our social team in crafting content for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive paid social media advertising strategies aligned with overall marketing objectives
- Create and manage paid social media campaigns on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, Twitch, Reddit, Pinterest and others
- Conduct thorough market research to identify target audiences, competitors, and industry trends.
- Monitor and optimize campaigns for performance, ensuring they meet KPIs and ROI goals
- Manage advertising budgets effectively, ensuring optimal allocation and performance
- Provide regular budget updates and recommendations for adjustments
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve campaign performance.
- Work closely with the creative team to ensure alignment between ad creatives and brand messaging
- Communicate strategy and regular updates on paid media performance with clients
Requirements
A strong candidate for this position should have the following qualities:

- 4+ years of work experience in the field of Paid Social Media Advertising
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field
- A comprehensive understanding of PPC campaign mechanics, including campaign structure, auto-bidding strategies, and new inventory
- Preference for experience with bid management platforms such as Search Ads 360, Display and Video 360, Facebook Business Manager, Twitter Ads, Google Ads, etc.
- Demonstrated success in planning and executing paid social media campaigns across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, Twitch, Reddit, Pinterest, and others
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, advertising formats, and best practices
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
- Experience working with social media influencers
- A team player with a positive attitude
- A desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving, technology-focused industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in client-facing roles

Our office is located in Los Angeles. You will have the option to work from our office or remotely. US-based is preferred.
Benefits
- $35 – $50 Per Hour part time (circa 20 – 30 hours per week)
- Initial 6 month contract
