Senior Laravel Developer
BnBerry, a forward-thinking American company, is on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Laravel Developer to join our dynamic engineering team. This role is at the heart of our mission to revolutionize the Hospitality industry through the creation of cutting-edge tools and products. Specializing in the Travel Tech sector, we deliver innovative solutions that enable hotels to tap into new sales channels, engage with guests more effectively, and streamline content management. Our client base spans major international hotel chains and resorts, as well as independent hotels across the US. With plans to expand into Latin America, Canada, and Europe in 2022, BnBerry is poised for significant growth. Our products are pivotal for hotels aiming to connect with hotel markets, manage inventory allocation, bookings, revenue, and customer service. Our portfolio boasts collaborations with premier international hotels and resorts, alongside independent and franchised establishments.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of new features and enhancements to meet complex customer demands.
- Take initiative and responsibility for improving our highly customized platform and reducing technical debt.
- Ensure all development work is well-documented in English.
- Engage in team communications primarily in English.
- Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Senior Developer.
- Strong knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes including DDD, SOLID, DRY, and KISS principles.
- Proficiency in our technology stack: PHP 8, Laravel, UNIT TESTS, MYSQL, GIT, REDIS, RABBITMQ, DOCKER, REST API.
- Experience in the development and optimization of project development processes.
- Conducting code reviews and coordinating meetings with the project team.
- Upholding high coding standards and ensuring the team adheres to chosen architectural solutions.
- Experience with high-load projects and optimizing complex queries.
- Excellent communication, reporting skills, and self-organization abilities.
Would be a plus:
- Experience in composer package development.
