Senior Fullstack Engineer – Web3
Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients a Senior Fullstack Engineer – Web3 – candidates need to be based in EMEA.
We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer who will co-lead the design, development, and maintenance of our scalable and secure backend infrastructure. This includes the establishment of a completely new backend and a scalable infrastructure for Jumper. In this role, you are expected to split your work between frontend and backend, with an emphasis on backend.
We are a small team, and every one of our engineers is expected to strongly contribute to our success by coming up with independent ideas and solutions to complex challenges. The current team includes: another Senior Full-Stack Engineer, a Junior Frontend Engineer, a Product Designer, a Technical Product Manager and a Business Lead. In addition, one more Frontend Engineer will be added to the team soon. In the near future, we would also love to see one of the Senior Engineers evolve into an engineering lead position for our small team.

- Node.js running TypeScript code in Docker containers
- NextJS and React.js
- MongoDB and Redis
- Github, Kubernetes, AWS and CloudFlare for our GitOps CD chain
- Ether.js and Wagmi
What you’ll do
- Architecting and implementing scalable and robust infrastructure solutions that can handle growing user loads and evolving business needs (we are already used by over 150k monthly active users).
- Developing and maintaining comprehensive test suites, including unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests, to ensure the reliability of backend systems.
- Design and develop high quality frontend applications that are testable and maintainable.
- Be responsible for development of prototypes, new frontend features and React components.
- Leading the design, development, and maintenance of a newly developed Jumper backend system and APIs.
- Collaborate closely with the Software Engineers, Product Manager and Designers within your team.
- Review the work of your teammates and support them in their growth through guidance and mentorship where needed.
Requirements
Must be located in the EMEA region
Extensive experience in a similar role (senior or lead)
Experience in UX/UI development
Software design and architecture
Previous exposure to testing frameworks and principles
Previous experience working in the web3 space
