Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Migration Leadership: Spearhead the migration process from on-premises infrastructure to Azure Cloud, leveraging deep understanding of both environments to devise and execute a robust migration strategy. Focus on ensuring cost-effectiveness throughout the migration process.
  • Infrastructure Management: Oversee the configuration, deployment, and ongoing management of the Azure environment, with a strong emphasis on optimizing costs while maintaining performance and scalability.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and operations, to facilitate a seamless transition to the Azure environment and address any technical challenges that arise.
  • Automation: Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IAC using tools like Terraform), and other automation processes to streamline the migration and ongoing management of Azure resources.
  • Security and Compliance: Maintain a robust security posture by implementing best practices for network configuration, access controls, encryption, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Establish proactive monitoring tools and alerts to quickly identify and address performance or reliability issues within the Azure environment, ensuring optimal system health.
  • Documentation: Document the migration process, configuration details, and best practices for the Azure environment, providing valuable resources for the team and future reference.

Qualifications:

  • DevOps Experience: Proven track record as a DevOps Engineer with successful experience in leading complex infrastructure migration projects.
  • Azure Expertise: Deep expertise in Azure environments, including proficiency in containerization, orchestration, Kubernetes, and various Azure cloud services.
  • Proficient English: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential for collaborating with global teams and documenting the migration process effectively.
  • Automation Proficiency: Strong proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub CI/CD), infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible), and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
  • Security Knowledge: Solid understanding of security best practices in cloud environments, including network security, access controls, and encryption protocols.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical challenges efficiently.
  • Leadership Abilities: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.

Annual Salary Range: R$90,000 – R$130,000
