BP3 is seeking a dynamic Senior Automation Consultant to lead and manage client engagements through the full spectrum of the automation lifecycle. This pivotal role involves:
- Consultation & Strategy Development:
- Engaging with clients to understand their requirements.
- Formulating strategic automation solutions tailored to client needs.
- Envisioning and designing future operating models enabled by AI, Automation and Digitisation.
- Planning & Implementation:
- Leading on process discovery, ideation and opportunity assessments.
- Constructing detailed business cases and implementation roadmaps.
- Coordinating change management to ensure business readiness.
- Driving the adoption and integration of automation solutions into established operating models.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Account Management:
- Provide comprehensive sales support throughout the sales process.
- Support in developing proposals.
- Collaborate with Strategic Account Managers for Account Planning and opportunity identification.
- Foster on-sell and cross-sell initiatives.
Automation Programme Shaping & Advisory:
- Interpret and align with client’s vision and strategy and consult on their automation agenda.
- Understand the clients situation, determine and align with their needs and expectations.
- Identify critical success factors and develop an approriate approach to support the clients journey.
- Run opportunity assessments across full functional areas to identify, prioritise and size improvement and automation opportunities.
- Develop Business Cases to motivate for investment in automation and support clients to drive and demonstrate benefits realisation.
- Devise and execute tailored automation roadmaps.
- Design To-Be operating models with Intelligent Automation at the core.
- Conceptualise solutions and help implement into operations; including the design and implementation of process and organisational design (OD) changes.
- Conduct readiness assessments for digital workforce integration.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of implemented solutions and make adjustments as necessary.
Client Engagement:
- Lead engagements by guiding and supporting client through the automation journey to deliver of strategic outcomes and realise benefits.
- Lead teams of analysts and engineers to ensure project success.
- Maintain accountability for project deliverables, budget adherence, and profitability.
- Facilitate a seamless transition post-implementation and monitor long-term project success.
- Utilize Kantata for project and resource management.
Technology Consultation:
- Leverage firm-wide knowledge and resources to consult on client automation programmes.
- Update and maintain the company’s knowledge base and methodologies.
- Conduct methodology training sessions for internal and client teams.
Education and Experience
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience.
- An MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree is preferable.
- Prior experience in IT, especially within Automation, is beneficial.
- Consulting background is desirable.
- Operational experience in service industries (e.g., Finance, Retail, Health, Telco) or support services (Finance, IT, HR) is valuable.
