Senior Account Executive

About the role:
We are seeking a results-driven Senior Account Executive with a strong SaaS sales background to join our Canadian team. This role is pivotal in driving the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closure, with a focus on achieving and exceeding revenue targets through the strategic acquisition of new clients and the expansion of existing accounts.
What you will do:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to meet and surpass annual sales targets
- Proactively segment territories to optimise pipeline generation and manage the full sales cycle
- Generate qualified leads through cold calling, email campaigns, and strategic outreach, focusing on SaaS solutions
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within educational institutions
- Utilise HubSpot for pipeline management, ensuring accurate forecasting and account activity visibility
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of our technology platform, confidently presenting demos tailored to the end-user’s needs
- Coordinate with Solution Architects to ensure a consistent and effective presentation of our platform’s benefits and best practices
- Participate in RFP responses, industry conferences, and tradeshows to enhance market presence
- Support the onboarding of schools and districts, including facilitating pilots as needed for larger engagements
- Update and maintain CRM systems with high attention to deal hygiene best practices
- Provide ongoing product feedback and market insights to support regional strategy and product development
About You:
- Experience in a full sales cycle role within the SaaS industry (education or edtech sector is desirable)
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals efficiently
- Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills
- Familiarity with CRM tools, preferably HubSpot
- A collaborative team player with a dynamic and flexible approach
