One of our companies is currently looking for a Security Engineer in Poland.

We are looking for a Security Engineer to join an agile and global security team focused on building secure systems and processes in a remote-first, high-growth environment. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping the security posture of a fast-evolving tech company by collaborating with engineering, IT, and DevOps teams. You will perform in-depth security reviews, support audits, help develop and enforce policies, and work hands-on to secure cloud infrastructure and applications. This is a remote role open to candidates based in Poland.

Accountabilities:

Partner with technical teams to design and embed security into infrastructure, applications, and vendor solutions.
Conduct security assessments, penetration tests, and ensure continuous compliance for cloud-based systems.
Monitor and enforce adherence to data protection policies, legal standards, and best practices.
Assist in vulnerability management programs including SCA, SAST, DAST, and bug bounty initiatives.
Support security operations and incident response processes.
Contribute to integration projects involving acquisitions and internal alignment with security standards.
Develop and maintain documentation, tooling, and dashboards to support security operations and reporting.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
At least 3 years of hands-on experience in security engineering or architecture within software organizations.
Experience in securing cloud platforms (multi-cloud experience preferred).
Proficiency with scripting (Python preferred) and Linux command line.
Familiarity with at least one vulnerability management tool (e.g. Wiz, Rapid7, Sumo).
Understanding of cryptographic protocols and security standards (e.g., PKI, TLS/SSL).
Knowledge of frameworks such as CIS, NIST, ISO 27001, or SOC 2 is an advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic setting.
