Sales Development Representative (SDR) – West

Anvilogic is a Palo Alto-based AI cybersecurity startup founded by security veterans and data scientists from Fortune 500 companies. In 2019, we started building an AI-based SOC platform to lower the barrier to entry for detection engineering and threat hunting skill sets desperately needed in cybersecurity.


Our mission is to democratize threat detection and hunting for today’s SOC teams to easily be done across hybrid, multi-clouds and security data lakes without needing to centralize data or rip and replace tools. Further, with our investments in AI-powered automation of detection-as-code to create, test, tune and deploy detections, SOC users can implement high-efficacy detection and hunting techniques without writing a single line of code nor manually wrangling data.

Are you a great fit? Our ideal candidate profile:

• Preferably 1+ years of experience in a sales/lead generation role in a high tech/SaaS company

• Bachelor’s degree

• Excellent communication & written skills

• Passionate, coachable, and humble team player

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Strong problem-solving skills

• High ethical and moral standards

• Motivated, self-starting, roll up your sleeves and jump in attitude

• Strong desire to learn and grow a career in sales

• Ability to meet and exceed quota

• Excellent follow up skills

• CRM experience

• A basic understanding of the business development process (ABM, ICP, Buyer Persona etc.)

Daily responsibilities include:

• Build Prospect Lists

• Generate pipeline for the sales organization and coordinate qualified meetings with Regional Sales Reps

• Contact prospects daily via phone, email, and other various forms of outreach

• Work closely with Marketing and Regional Sales Reps to execute sales campaigns and conduct outreach

• Research and find new accounts and contacts for outreach

• Generate interest for trade shows, events, webinars, and follow up

• Develop messaging content and outreach sequences to execute on

• Qualify Leads

• Set Appointments with Key Decision Makers that lead to Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs)
