About the Role

A Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Tecsys is a self-motivated and driven hunter for new business opportunities.  An SDR must be focused on maintaining a consistent volume of outbound calls, emails and social touches to successfully achieve the goals of opening new relationships and finding new, valid pipeline. An SDR must be skilled at time management, balancing focused call blocks, with call preparation and research and other administrative duties.  An SDR must have excellent communication skills both over the phone and through email and other digital mediums.  BDRs must be strong relationship builders, making strong value-based connections with field sellers, field sales leadership and marketing teams.  SDRs must take ownership of their assigned territory and the relationships with the field counterparts in that territory. 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high call volume daily, ensuring multiple conversations with prospects daily 
  • Must deliver a set number of qualified discovery appointments monthly with an expectation of high conversion to pipeline opportunities 
  • SDRs are measured on their ability to create new pipeline 
  • Follow up to marketing programs 
  • Execute cold call campaigns in a specified territory, partnered with field account executives 
  • Quickly respond to and qualify all inbound leads 
  • Continually update and educate themselves on our offerings and solutions beyond the provided training.

Qualifications:

  • 3+years outbound inside sales experiences, preferably in the technology services or software sector 
  • Demonstrated attainment or overachievement of annual quotas 
  • A track record of success in a telesales role requiring high outbound call volume 
  • Demonstrated adherence to daily and weekly outbound milestone metrics 
  • Ability to connect the prospects goals and problems to the entire Tecsys solution portfolio 
  • Ability to call high within the prospect organizations, and relate business issues to meaningful dialog around solutions 
  • Ability  to self-manage their day in a remote office
