Sales Development Representative

The AutoVitals suite of SaaS products are designed to solve many of the current hurdles faced by auto repair shops. Our mission is to help auto repair shops drive profitable growth by attracting new customers, providing superior communication and customer service, increased shop efficiency, higher average repair orders, and more.

As an essential member of the AutoVitals sales team, the Sales Development representative is responsible for setting qualified demo appointments for our Account Executive team to win new business through a standardized software sales process including emails and phone calls. This position will report directly to one of our Sales Managers and has the opportunity to work remotely or be based in our San Diego office. We’re looking for someone to join our team immediately.

Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for initial outreach to business owners through a high volume of targeted phone calls and emails
  • The goal is to identify new business opportunities with qualified business owners, and set demo appointments for our Account Executive team to learn more about AutoVitals products and services
  • Ability to follow a standard software sales process and cadence, including excellent lead pipeline management and at least 8-10 touch points within a 3 week period is required for success
  • You should consult with prospects, understand their needs, and quickly articulate AutoVitals value to set the demo appointment
  • You will work leads in our CRM, Salesforce, tracking and reporting on the status of all leads, and logging all calls, emails, and other activities
  • You will ensure a smooth hand-off to the Account Executive team, including all background, notes, and tips that will help them continue throughout the sales process
  • This role’s compensation is based on: demo appointments set, how many show up, and dollar amount from deals the AE team wins

Annual Compensation Range: $50,000 – $85,000

Requirements

  • 1+ year of prior cold-calling experience
  • Willingness to work in a high volume sales environment making a minimum of 60 cold calls per day
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • You have a positive attitude and a drive to win
  • You are an accountable self-starter and comfortable owning your own development
  • You are coachable and have the ability to quickly implement feedback
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Bonus: Experience in, or selling to, the automotive industry
  • Bonus: Proficiency using Salesforce, Zoom, Slack, Google Calendar, or equivalent
