Who we are

Showroom is a vertically integrated furniture manufacturer and design firm curating spaces through collaborative design and technology.

Founded in 2016, we have proven to be a leader in custom furniture design, interior design, furniture rental, and home staging. We are proud to have worked in some of the most impressive properties in America.

Having designed over 4,000 homes nationwide representing $770M of installed inventory, we aim to disrupt the home furnishings value chain by offering a full-service solution.

We deliver impeccable design and extraordinary experiences for every client by combining talented people with exceptional products and industry-leading platform as part of Showroom.  Our success is predicated on our proprietary design management software, a deep focus on analytics, an advanced supply chain, and sophisticated logistics.

Why this role is important

Our sales development role is at the forefront of educating B2B clients, corporate end users, and channel partners on the Showroom platform. We provide clients with access to leverage custom inventory production, design services, product rental, and procurement services. We seek to redefine how people shop for and procure furnishings and design services.

This role and hire are critical for Showroom, we are looking for a “SELLER”, someone who loves the act of client development, the process, the math of client acquisition, in support of making their company the best in the industry. You have to love sales process data, and be willing to develop a performance-based sales culture with the VP of Sales.

This transition role is designed for someone who has demonstrated the required desire, skill, and aptitude to be a rockstar SDR and is interested in managing a team. We envision a 6-9 month ramp period to growing a team, with this role carrying a quota for the 1st year, but then transitioning to managing a team of SDR’s domestic and offshore within 12-16 months.

At Showroom, we seek client managers who can embody the traits that make Vesta one of a kind in our industry :

  • Innovative: Vesta is leading the market in combining traditional design and staging services, focusing on new techniques in style, process, and execution.
  • Professional: Our sales focus redefines what clients expect from a design partner.  We drive the design to focus on the buyer and inventory/styles that will capture the most expansive buyer pool.
  • Disruptive: Vesta entered the design market less than seven years ago and now is one of the largest design firms in the US, which is only the beginning of our growth.  Our sales team needs to follow the same path, becoming leaders in the field and known to all their clients as a trusted partner and resource.

Deliverables/objectives

  • Uncover new business opportunities through strategic outside sales/business development activities.
  • Completing a high volume of outbound touches daily, setting the standard for growing our brand presence in all markets and verticals. We are looking to hire this person to set the outbound goals for the brands and team.
  • Partner with marketing and account management to develop effective conversion strategies and warm handover SOPs
  • Create SDR training and onboarding training plans
  • Support our salesforce environment and development of additional sales processes and efficiencies.

Required Skills / Experience

  • 3-5 years of luxury brand sales experience, preferably real estate sales, project management, and/or interior design.
  • Must have strong negotiation skills and be able to discuss cost, scope, and expectations with potential clients, and convert the same into a contract agreement.
  • Must understand real estate sales and general market conditions. Able to effectively leverage this knowledge into creating a value proposition with clients for Vesta’s services.
  • Technology competent, experience with a sales CRM (i.e. Salesforce, Hubspot) and comfortable working in inventory software.
  • Experience with the entire google suite (i.e. sheets, slides, drive).
