What You’ll Do:
- Forecasting Prodigy: Craft rock-solid sales and purchasing forecasts using historical data, market trends, and sharp analytics.
- Sales Execution Guru: Adapt and conquer by ensuring our sales targets are met, even as market dynamics shift.
- Demand Planning Maverick: Design and implement strategies for inventory, advertising, and re-pricing across all sales channels—making sure everything aligns with our sales goals.
- Automation Ace: Partner with IT to streamline and automate demand planning processes, keeping us ahead of the curve.
- Collaboration Champ: Work hand-in-hand with IT, Operations, Research, and Finance teams to keep everything in sync and always improving.
- Project Management Pro: Take the lead on projects, guiding them from start to finish with precision and flair.
Requirements
What You Bring:
- A background in Demand Planning, Economics, Data Analytics, or similar.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, with direct reporting to management.
- A track record of success in e-commerce, smashing sales targets and exceeding expectations.
- Expertise in demand and inventory planning.
- An analytical mind that loves turning data into actionable insights.
- A tech-savvy approach, especially when collaborating with IT.
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for team management.
- Top-notch communication skills, making cross-department collaboration a breeze.
- Proven experience in project management, with a knack for seeing projects through to completion.
- English at an upper-intermediate level (B2-C1).
Bonus Points:
- Experience with marketplace platforms, especially Amazon.
- Familiarity with demand planning software and ERP systems.
- Product or process management chops.
- Programming skills to add a tech edge to your role.
