Remote Training and Development Specialist

Extenteam is currently looking for a Remote Training and Development Specialist to undertake the following tasks:

  • Collaboration with Internal Management team and partners key stakeholders team to develop learning content, execute soft skills, process training for promoted brands
  • Developing training presentations and managing the execution of training courses to ensure maximum performance
  • Measuring training effectiveness as it relates to specific strategic initiatives
  • Work as liaison with internal departments (such as HR Leadership, Accounting, Sales etc) to identify training needs  and propose/develop training solutions
  • Create and develop effective online learning training continuum aimed at reinforcing critical soft skills and leadership skills
  • Manage vendor relationships and associated training projects

Simplified Duties and Responsibilities

  • Searching for gaps in training content and materials that needs to be executed to generate higher productivity and effectiveness among team members.
  • Researching new training supplies and materials that can enhance company’s training procedures while providing value to team members
  • Identifying future training needs and creating a curriculum to facilitate that training
  • Leading programs to assist employees with transitions due to technological changes, acquisitions and mergers
  • Communicating with management team to ensure that all needs are met
  • Setting up executive or leadership development programs
  • Conducting orientation programs
  • Resolving any specific problems and tailoring training programs as necessary

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

  • Knowledge of Talent Management practices essential
  • Time Management – ability to plan, organize and prioritize own time and development activities for others
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in the Hotel/Vacation Rental industry
  • Significant experience in successfully developing, managing, delivering and improving high-quality learning programs, including curriculum and materials design (program assessment preferred)
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse clients at all levels in a large, complex, non-hierarchical organization; ability to work with senior leadership in a corporate environment

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
– Internet speed minimum 30mbps
– at least i5
– at least 8th Gen or higher
– Windows 10 / MacOS Catalina or higher
– Minimum of 8 GB RAM
– Private and quiet dedicated home office area (no roosters, dogs, children’s noises in the background)
– Back-ups in case of power or internet provider interruptions
– Good headset and webcam (preferably noise-canceling headset)
