Conjointly offers a powerful and intuitive platform and expert support for insights about markets, customers, products, and pricing questions. We are an Australian-headquartered provider of quantitative research services to big and small companies (mostly in the USA and Europe). Through automation, we increase efficiency for our clients but maintain a human connection and high research quality. As we grow (in the number of products that we offer and in clients’ awareness of us), we need passionate researchers, software developers, and other team members to join us for remote roles.

We are hiring a Quantitative Market Researcher to join our Americas team.

Responsibilities:

  • [60%] Research analysis and report building. Conjointly provides full-service research consultation, you will plan and design research projects based on our clients’ research objectives. 
    • Discussing projects with clients to identify project expectations. 
    • Creating project proposals
    • Designing research projects (including choosing methodology, designing questionnaires, and planning analysis)
    • Programming surveys based on a questionnaire, testing and error checking,
    • Analysis of survey data in Excel, or R,
    • Building of PowerPoint reports,
    • Delivering report to clients via video conferences
  • [20%] Support users of the Conjointly platform. You will become an expert in the use of the research tools we offer, and will help our users to execute their projects on the platform.
    • Provide email, chat-based, and video call support for technical questions on platform use, 
    • Walk potential users through demos of the platform,
    • Provide guidance on appropriate research methodologies based on users’ research objectives,
    • Relay user requests to appropriate colleagues for follow-up
  • [20%] Other tasks as needed. The Americas team is small (but growing), so at times you will need to wear different hats to provide support to our researchers, the development team, or administrators. 

Requirements

  • Excellent proficiency in the English language, both spoken and written;
    • To apply, submit your application and resume in English.
  • Interest in research and quantitative methodologies; 
  • Critical and logical thinking, good numerical and analytical skills;
  • Excel proficiency;
  • PowerPoint proficiency;
  • Experience with a programming language, preferably R
  • Experience with statistical analysis: confidence intervals, significance tests, model noise, etc.
  • Bachelor’s Degree, with a preference for Statistics, Marketing, Mathematics, Sociology, or related;

Nice to have, but not required to qualify

  • Masters degree of higher in a quantitative field
  • Experience with Conjoint or MaxDiff
  • At least two years’ experience in a research or research adjacent role.
  • Spanish language fluency
