The Project Manager is responsible for planning, overseeing, and leading projects from ideation through to completion in a remote work environment. This role requires interaction with a range of internal and external stakeholders, most often managing several moving project parts simultaneously. The Project Manager must be highly organized, capable of managing virtual teams, and adept in using digital tools to communicate and monitor project progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate and plan projects by defining the scope, objectives, deliverables, resources, and timelines.
  • Coordinate virtual teams across different time zones and cultures.
  • Use virtual collaboration tools to facilitate communication and project progression.
  • Lead and manage the project execution remotely, ensuring consistency with project strategy, commitments, and goals.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, problems, and solutions to all stakeholders regularly.
  • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
  • Allocate resources in an efficient manner and ensure their availability. Manage project budgets and ensure financial accountability.
  • Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
  • Manage stakeholder communication and act as the main point of contact for project-related queries.
  • Maintain project documentation and ensure all stakeholders are informed of outcomes/lessons learned.
  • Create and deliver project reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations as needed.


  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; a master’s degree in project management is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a project manager, with a track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the stakeholders.
  • Experience in working with remote or virtual projects and teams.
  • Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2).
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time management.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, JIRA).
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to manage the ambiguity of virtual projects.
  • Comfortable with fast-paced, potentially high-pressure situations.


  • This position is fully remote.
  • Work hours may vary and will require flexibility to coordinate with team members in different time zones.
