Project Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within the software development industry, specifically with experience in Jira, Agile processes, and cloud-based software projects. As a Project Manager, you will lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Management:
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Monitor and track project progress, ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
• Manage project risks, issues, and changes in scope effectively.
• Agile Process Implementation:
• Lead Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coach team members on Agile best practices to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Ensure consistent and effective use of Jira for project tracking and reporting.
• Team Leadership & Collaboration:
• Lead cross-functional teams in the development and delivery of cloud-based software projects.
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders, developers, and other team members.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performance environment, motivating team members to excel.
• Stakeholder Management:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and success criteria.
• Provide regular status updates to stakeholders, highlighting project progress and risks.
• Ensure alignment of project goals with business objectives.
• Cloud-Based Software Projects:
• Lead the planning and execution of cloud-based software projects.
• Coordinate with DevOps and IT teams to ensure seamless deployment and integration of cloud solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of project management experience in software development.
• Proven experience with Jira and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
• Strong understanding of cloud-based software development and deployment (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Trello).
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Currently living in Latin America
• Certifications (Preferred):
• PMP, CSM, or equivalent project management certification.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent cloud certification.
