Project Contracts Administrator (240313-1)

This position is Monday to Friday 40 hours a week. The successful candidate will support a project on the mine site and can work in hybrid or remote.
As a Contracts Administrator, your duties and responsibilities are:
– Applying best practices and a framework of processes for administering contracts
– Invoice verification. Contract enforcement. Etc.
– Working closely with operation, construction and project management teams, you will:
- Administer a variety of contracts,
- Perform proper contract kick-offs and close-outs
- Ensure contractor compliance with technical, and commercial terms and conditions throughout the contract post-award lifecycle
- Verify that contractor charges reflect the agreed-upon rate, price and mark-up structures and ensure timely processing of such charges for payment.
– To provide any required input into monthly project reports regarding the status of assigned contracts against a number of key performance indicators (EI: timeliness of payments, cost, schedule and productivity) while leading the process of expeditious resolution of payments, claims and disputes.
– Assisting project teams with interpreting contract terms, and providing input into the continuous improvement of contract templates and related procedures based on lessons learned during the hands-on administration of Clients’ contracts.
Salary: Open to wage negotiations based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements
- 3+ years experience in a similar role
- Strong communication skills – both written and oral
- Strong negotiation, planning and leadership skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering is considered an asset.
