Product Manager
About the role:
Haysto is the UK’s #1 complex mortgage brokerage – helping customers who don’t fit the “standard” applicant mould. Think bad credit, self-employed, multiple incomes, or complex histories – we get mortgages over the line where others can’t.
We’re backed by industry giants including Better Group and the CEO of OakNorth, and our customer service speaks for itself.
Haysto is growing fast, and we are looking for a Product Manager who will work closely with our CTO, Engineering Manager, Product UX Designer to turn great ideas into products people love.
You’ll partner with leadership to shape the roadmap, coordinate design and engineering, and ensure everyone is clear on what’s being built, why, and when. You’ll bring structure to the product process from idea to launch, run regular demos to showcase progress, and use AI thoughtfully to make workflows faster and more reliable.
What you’ll work on:
Shape the roadmap:
Translate company goals into a clear, prioritised roadmap. Keep it current as priorities evolve and communicate trade-offs.
Plan and deliver:
Own the backlog and sprint planning, balancing strategic work with operational needs. Partner with engineering and design to keep delivery smooth and on track.
Show the work:
Run engaging demos and share release notes that explain the what, why, and impact of each change.
Keep everyone aligned:
Provide regular updates on priorities, timelines, risks, and decisions so there’s no confusion about where we’re headed.
Stay organised:
Maintain a single source of truth for product documentation so people can always find the latest information.
Bring insight into decisions:
Use competitor analysis, market research, product analytics, and customer feedback to inform direction and reduce delivery risk.
Leverage AI for efficiency:
Identify and trial AI tools to speed up discovery, requirements, backlog organisation, research, and documentation. Work with engineering and design to integrate AI where it adds real value.
What you’ll bring:
● A track record of delivering products end-to-end in a fast-paced environment.
● The ability to turn big-picture goals into clear, actionable plans.
● Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
● Confidence running demos and presenting product work.
● Comfort using data, customer insight, and market research to guide decisions.
● Familiarity with agile practices, backlog management, and sprint planning.
● Interest in applying AI to improve product delivery and operational efficiency.
Nice to have:
● Experience in fintech or other regulated environments.
● Hands-on experience with product analytics tools and experiment design.
● Exposure to CRM or workflow products.
How we work:
● Clear goals and outcomes aligned to company OKRs.
● Collaborative planning with engineering and design.
● Regular demos and release notes to keep everyone informed.
● Continuously improving processes using feedback and data.
Benefits:
● 36 days holiday, including a day off for your Birthday
● Company Pension Scheme
● Company Equity Scheme via Vestd – you own a piece of Haysto!
● Access to Counselling via SPILL Mental Health Platform.
● Fully Remote Working. (With optional office access if desired)
● Company Events.
● Casual dress when attending the office.
