Thrive by Shopventory (www.thrivemetrics.com) is a remote-first company, focused on empowering small to medium-sized businesses by automating their inventory management and providing powerful business intelligence so they are able to increase their sales and save time. We’ve been around for over twelve years and today, our SaaS app has grown to thousands of paying customers while managing over $4 billion worth of total inventory.  

We are looking for a Product Designer to join our team. The person in this position must be a great communicator, enjoy collaborating, and love solving complex problems with a keen eye for detail and based in the USA. We don’t care whether you went to college, but we would like you to have 2-5 years of experience in responsive UX and UI design, ideally in a B2B SaaS environment. We’re looking for a team member who wants to work on a practical product that solves real problems for our customers and is eager to take a leadership role within the team. 

Requirements

Here’s what you would be working on:

  • Gathering and evaluating user requirements, in collaboration with the customer care team, product leadership, stakeholders and engineers.
  • Create a UX strategy for current and future products.
  • Design and maintain a company wide design system encompassing fonts, colors, icons, and other branding materials.
  • Develop and maintain responsive design guidelines.
  • Create original graphical interface elements such as menus, tabs, and widgets and apply them to user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups.
  • Design, prepare and present rough drafts, storyboards and high fidelity mockups to internal teams for product enhancements.
  • Ensure UI elements follow best practices for responsiveness, usability, and accessibility.
  • Create surveys and conduct user/industry studies to gather feedback on customer’s ease of use and satisfaction using company’s new, proposed or existing websites and products, and incorporate feedback into appropriate designs and UX.

Our ideal candidate possesses the following qualifications:

  • 2-5 Years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing UX and UI design, with a strong background in responsive design.
  • A solid familiarity with iOS and Android design patterns.
  • A portfolio of design projects.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • The ability to troubleshoot HTML, CSS and comparable languages. 
  • Continued education and research into UX trends and current design strategy and technologies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Very organized with a high attention to detail while keeping the big picture in mind.
  • Worked fully remote before and is based in the USA.

Compensation, Perks and Benefits:

  • The salary range for the position is $95,000 – $140,000 per year depending on work experience, skills, certifications and education.
