Price Analyst

About the Role

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Price Analyst to optimize pricing strategies and manage large datasets. The ideal candidate is proficient in Microsoft Excel, can analyze market trends, and implement pricing models to drive profitability. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Pricing Strategy & Analysis
• Analyze pricing data, market trends, and competitor pricing to develop optimized strategies.
• Maintain and update price lists across customer and supplier accounts.
• Conduct margin analysis and recommend pricing adjustments to improve profitability.
• Data Management & Excel Proficiency
• Utilize advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Power Query, Macros) for data analysis.
• Automate pricing workflows and ensure accuracy in pricing databases.
• Collaboration & Execution
• Work with sales, procurement, and finance teams to ensure pricing accuracy.
• Provide real-time pricing insights and assist in customer pricing proposals.
• Be available for urgent pricing updates and calls as needed.
• Reporting & Compliance
• Generate pricing reports and trend analyses for management.
• Ensure compliance with pricing policies and document all pricing decisions.
• Continuous Improvement
• Identify efficiencies in pricing workflows and recommend automation tools.
• Stay updated on industry pricing trends and competitor strategies.

What We’re Looking For

• Expertise in Excel (advanced formulas, automation, and data analysis).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex pricing data.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, capable of handling large datasets.
• Experience in pricing, finance, or data analysis preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and collaborate across time zones.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in pricing analysis, handling large datasets, and financial analysis.
• Advanced Excel proficiency required (Power Query, PivotTables, Macros, complex formulas, data modeling).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to understand and execute complex instructions and translate them into actionable pricing strategies. • Experience handling large datasets and performing data-driven decision-making.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to think critically and present key insights to management to support strategic decision-making.
• Ability to work independently, under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
• Availability to work across multiple time zones and respond promptly to business needs.
