As we expand into the coastal Savannah to Charleston area, we are seeking a Division President to lead our team. This position offers a remote work setup initially, with plans for a facility in the coastal region. With a total package of up to $350,000, this is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our company.

General Function:

As the Division President, you will oversee all aspects of homebuilding operations, working closely with executive teams to ensure market success. Your responsibilities will encompass land acquisition, development, project planning, purchasing, construction, sales, marketing, warranty, human resources, and general management. Your goal is to maximize business success while maintaining customer satisfaction and fostering a dynamic employee culture aligned with our long-term growth objectives. With an entrepreneurial mindset, you will drive our market strategy and build a high-performing team capable of substantial growth in both build-to-rent and retail markets.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Lead the division’s culture and ensure alignment with company values.
  • Manage division profit and loss, driving financial performance.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Land Development to develop land plans and acquisition strategies.
  • Oversee construction and operations to maintain building times and community appearance standards.
  • Work with operations and purchasing to control costs and optimize trade partner relationships.
  • Provide strategic guidance and leadership to achieve short- and long-range business objectives.
  • Partner with HR to attract, develop, and retain top talent within the division.
  • Maintain relationships with external partners to support the division’s success.
  • Enhance the division’s reputation in the market through innovation, quality, and customer service.
  • Collaborate with executive teams and departments to leverage expertise and resources.
  • Demonstrate leadership, vision, and adaptability to drive organizational success.
  • Evaluate the division’s performance and implement improvements as needed.

Requirements

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 5 years of homebuilding experience with P&L responsibility or senior management roles.
  • Knowledge of real estate transactions and land acquisitions.
  • Direct market experience in the Coastal Savannah to Charleston area.
  • Excellent communication skills and dynamic team-building abilities.
