Presales Engineer (LATAM)

HAUD are expanding yet again, and this time we are looking for a highly energetic and dynamic Presales Engineer to join the team in LATAM. You will be tasked with supporting the global sales and service delivery team in generating and delivering the company revenue objectives, quarterly and annually in territory. You will manage the full technical lifecycle of the customer from lead to sale to delivery and beyond, as well as report back to management on a regular basis. You will work closely with the Solutions Architect in the customer solutions design, composing of FRS and Technical Implementation documentation (HLD and LLD) and assist in RFPs.


  • Minimum 5 years in Pre Sales and / or Service Delivery role in telecoms industry
  • Working knowledge in Linux technologies (Ubuntu and CentOS)
  • Experience using Virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM, OpenStack)
  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP fundamentals
  • Experience in the telecommunications section and knowledge of Telecommunications protocols such as SS7, SIP and Diameter is a must
  • Experience with IP security devices (firewalls, IPS, vulnerability assessment tools, network scanners, etc.)
  • Experience in helping to sell and delivering complex solutions to mobile operators
  • Strong conceptual understanding of mobile sms/ussd,RCS communications, 4G/5G networks
  • Strong collaborative team player/leader
  • Ability to understand and maintain creditability with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Industry knowledge, resourcefulness
  • Business planning skills
  • Ability to travel from time to time
  • High Proficiency in English and Spanish (written and spoken). Understanding of French and/or Portuguese is considered an asset
