Our client is currently growing their local presence in the Philippines and seeking for a highly self-motivated Power BI Consultant who can work independently or partner closely with other engineers on a project. As a Power BI Consultant, you will be expected to design and deliver Business Intelligence Solutions in Microsoft Power BI. You will work either individually or as part of a team directly with our external clients to design, build and deliver best practice solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Design and build reports and dashboards in Power BI.
Translate business requirements into technical ones.
Create and develop end-to-end projects, deployment, and maintenance report curation and data modelling.
Create documentation on reporting and handover to client.
Requirements
College Degree is a nice-to-have
Extensive experience in developing Power BI
Highly competent with DAX and Power Query
Ability to model data and build semantic model.
Demonstrated experience with best practice report design and data visualization. Extensive knowledge of Power BI features and functionalities
Demonstrated experience with Power BI solution design including Administration, Governance and Security.
Experience with the Power BI service including workspaces, apps and user access
Good knowledge of Power BI best practices such as sharing, performance and solution design practices
Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and Power BI related features such as Direct Lake semantic models.
Demonstrated ability to work to a deadline and manage priorities
Excellence in communicating and presenting complex information to technical and non-technical stakeholders, both verbally and in written form (in English)
Strong time management skills, able to balance competing priorities and escalate when required
Ability to work remotely via Microsoft Teams
Aptitude for critical and analytical thinking, as well as the capacity to leverage out-of-the box solutions
Keen for a fast-paced environment with opportunities to learn, grow, and be exposed to a variety of problems, clients, and technologies
Advantageous skills or nice-to-haves:
Power Bi embedded skills
On premise gateway configuration
Experience with PowerShell scripts
Tabular Editor skills
Performance tuning DAX with DAXstudio
T-SQL / Python
Advanced features like calculation groups
