YOUR ROLE
The Performance Marketing Channel Manager – Email | SMS (PMCM) resides in the Stio Marketing Department structurally and works with the Director of Performance Marketing to drive customer acquisition, retention and revenue from performance marketing channels, primarily from email and SMS.
This position supports the management of the email channel specifically and all related testing, optimization, segmentation and analysis. In addition, there is ownership and accountability for various agency relationships, data, analytics and process management. The PMCM works cross functionally with the brand and creative teams to ensure smooth execution of all planned activations.
The PMCM reports to the Director of Performance Marketing.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with Performance Marketing team and partners to set and achieve channel marketing goals
- Inform strategy for customer acquisition and retention through email and SMS marketing activities
- Pull data, create reports, and analyze retention metrics to optimize, identify red flags and scale efforts
- Continually identify unique opportunities to engage our customers along their journey to increase LTV and customer sentiment while reducing churn
- Own end-to-end testing in Klaviyo and the optimization of the customer journey, including initial concept, execution, analysis and reporting of results
- Collaborate with brand marketing and merchandising resources to drive the marketing calendar, messaging, audience selection and community management
- Collaborate with creative, sales and product marketing teams to develop and deliver a portfolio of multi-channel, automated lifecycle marketing programs
- Ensure Stio is using the best technology (Klaviyo, Segment, Wunderkind, Shopify, etc.) to drive customer engagement through automated campaigns, personalization, data segmentation, list development, etc.
- Develop strategies to drive optimization of email and SMS through creative testing, audience list management, and related testing
- Manage day to day details related to list health and management, invoicing, projections, etc.
- Recommend A/B tests and interpret results and their impact on future strategy
- Partner cross-functionally with brand, creative, ecommerce, marketing analytics and CX team members to ensure smooth execution of all planned sends and customer touchpoints
- Project manage both short and long term projects across internal teams and external partners. Maintain an organized process, keeping stakeholders up to date with progress.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years of email or related channel management experience
- Bachelor’s degree or greater required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google products
- Strong working knowledge of Klaviyo or similar email platform
- Working knowledge of Segment or other CDP advantageous
- Mastery of high level and granular email | SMS metrics, including cost-related metrics, response rates and digital metrics like CPA, ROAS, CAC (P&L at acquisition), repeat purchase rates, LTV, etc.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
- Strong project management skills and workflow understanding
- Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope and timeline
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent time management skills required
- Excellent written and verbal skills required
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with teams at every level of seniority

We provide competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives and benefits. The base salary range for this role is $60,000-$80,000. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of the range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors including experience, skills, and qualifications.
