The Role: Performance Marketer
Oceans is seeking talented candidates in Sri Lanka to become Performance Marketers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute performance marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention
- Identify and prioritize key performance marketing channels, including PPC, display advertising, and affiliate marketing
- Plan, launch, and manage performance marketing campaigns across various paid channels
- Conduct keyword research, audience targeting, ad creation, and bid management
- Optimize campaigns continuously to improve key performance metrics (CPC, CTR, CPA, ROAS, etc.)
- Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance using analytics tools
- Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor KPIs and provide actionable insights
- Conduct A/B testing and multivariate testing to optimize ad creatives, landing pages, and conversion funnels
- Monitor spend and performance daily to ensure campaigns stay within budget and deliver expected results
- Make data-driven decisions to reallocate budget as needed to optimize performance
- Collaborate with the web development team to optimize landing pages and conversion paths
- Utilize heatmaps and user feedback to identify areas for improvement
Requirements
- Language: Professional fluency in English, with superb communication skills (reading, writing, speaking)
- Experience: At least 4 years of experience in performance marketing
- Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Optimizely, VWO)
- Proficiency in digital marketing platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Google Analytics, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
- Excellent understanding of PPC, display advertising, social media advertising, and other performance marketing channels
- Experience with A/B testing, conversion rate optimization, and campaign analysis
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Understanding of user experience (UX) and customer journey mapping
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or relevant work experience
